Every so often we read books that surprise us. Like me being a European and what did I think of the Austrialian Aborigins? Well – same as everybody – same as you think of native Indians in USA – all of this is a VERY SAD STORY-but one which has – ALWAYS – made me cringe inside thinking about all those "well meaning" church people – of whatever church – all are to blame the same way – trying to bring "salvation to the heathen" by destroying their own culture – in realty – they stole their land + culture + way of living – follow the money!!!

I’ve lived for more than a decade in Africa – and I never stopped wondering: these village people cannot read a clock (a watch) – to tell you the time of day (although some of them wear a watch – as a status symbol – but cannot read it-:)- they either forget to wind it or buy new battery – yet they’ll wear the watch ) – and yet – if you ask them – they GIVE you the time of day – give and take 10 minutes. Now – what’s 10 minutes in an African’s life?

Nothing – right?
It’s also nothing in our life – but we’ll never admit it. Rather – some of us work + save 1 year to buy a watch that is so expensive – but indeed promises us to give EXACT time… but consider what WE have given up for this!! ONE YEAR OF OUR LIFE !!

Coming back to what we all think about Aborigines – there is a book which for anybody that is a spiritual seeker – is a MUST READ:
Message from Forever – a novel of aboriginal wisdom – by MARLO MORGAN
Read this book – and save $ 1000ds in new management methods and latest "Guru" wisdom about this and that – it’s ALL there in this book about the culture of the Aborigines.
Now, here I want to share something out of this book:
"The following message applies to all souls everywhere. It has been appropriate in every period of time, from caveman to the present. There is no distinction between male and female. The task is not wordly success, it is spiritually oriented.
This is a standard that has been held by my people in the Outback Nation since the beginning of time. They have never been farmers, merchants, or herders. They have always been gatherers, musicians, artists, and poets; the lived in oneness with the earth, all its creatures, and each other. This is one of their ritual chants:
Forever Oneness,
Who sings to us in silence,
Who teaches us through each other,
Guide my steps with strength and wisdom.
May I see the lessons as I walk,
Honor the purpose of all things.
Help me touch with respect,
Always speak from behind my eyes.
Let me observe, not judge.
May I casue no harm, and leave
Music and beauty after my visit.
When I return to Forever,
May the circle be closed and
The spiral be broader.
Yes – indeed – and here comes this: Aborigines always travelled – walking – and whenever they camped somwhere – they left the place spotless – even hid the fire and buried all waste – even hid their footsteps in the sand…
now – I think you can follow me – folks – IF – just IF – our people would perform the same way in our nature reserves, woods, beaches etc. – our world would indeed be a MUCH prettier place- and it’s indeed our people who went and thought they should teach ABORIGINES the blessings of "civilisation"….this is indeed – very funny – or very sad – ….of all things – it was very wrong — as the high spiritual development of these people was/and is (there are a few still about living the traditional way) indeed astounding.
