Everyone has a bad day now and then. Sometimes the whole day seems bad. Sometimes everything is fine and then it seems like a black cloud comes to hang over your head. To help stay happy and focused through it all, try starting a practice of reading inspirational daily messages.

If you start your day with an inspirational message, it sets the tone for your entire day. You may not be able to change everything that happens to you during the day. But you can definitely change your reactions. You might be surprised how just a tiny message can help you do that, without you even realizing it.

There are many sources of inspirational messages. There are cards of messages that can be picked from as needed. Many books are available with various types of messages including a sentence or two, stories or poems. Or you can find websites that email regular positive messages.

The important thing is that you find a source of inspiration that you can look to on a daily basis. Starting your day this way is a great way to set the right tone. But you do not have to limit yourself to just that once. Reach for a message whenever you feel the need to be inspired to think positively.

You make positive change by having positive thoughts which translate into positive action. Where energy is concerned, that which is negative will invite more negative in. Positive energy, on the other hand, invites more positive energy and helps us to set and reach the goals we set.

Inspirational daily messages help to put us into a positive state of mind. In this state of mind, we are able to view the things that happen in a more positive light. A few months ago I managed to find a way of eradicating my ever recurring problems of becoming down and depressed. Within the confides of this article I will be writing about this potential solution for depression which may well lead to a far more enjoyable and contented life for many people – I hope you enjoy the read.

Before I continue I would like to point out that I am in no way involved in the “depression industry”; I actually involved with stammering treatmentfront doors and providing people with information about how to become a foster parent.

I am the type of person who can easily let things get on top of me. At the times when I am expected to run about and to act quickly I soon start to panic; I then become flustered etc. I am sure this is the same for many people but the way it affects me over the next twenty-four hours is somewhat different. I seem to lose all of my energy and this then can easily lead me into thinking in a very negative way, often ending with me becoming quite depressed.

For whatever reason this depression can stay and in a way haunt my life for quite a few days. I begin to worry about the future, start to think that I am a failure, start to become paranoid about what other people think of me and basically become scared to leave my own house.

Possible solution to my depression

A few weeks ago I was watching a television program which has since had a massive impact on my life. It was an army type program and it talked about how one particular group of soldiers had all seemingly become ill and could not even complete the most routine of tasks.

A general practitioner was asked to visit the site to see whether they could work out what may be going wrong. The initial belief was that it was likely to be some form of food poisoning.

The GP advised for a large number of salt tablets to be delivered to the camp as many of the people there were suffering from salt deprivation.

The next time I felt I was becoming down or when I was over tired, I ate food products which contained a lot of salt and I am very happy to report that I quickly regained my energy and confidence levels. Such a simple solution to what was once such a huge problem for me.

I know that what I have written above may well seem rather bizarre however it works for me. Why not give it a try yourself the next time you are feeling a bit low? You never know it might just work.

There is no denying the fact that the belief in past life, or reincarnation, is prevalent across the board in almost every religion, from Christianity to Hinduism to Buddhism to Kabalah. And the interest of humans in knowing as much as possible about their past lives is also quite widespread. A lot of us know what we want out of life, but it’s also true that very few of us seem to actually get it. We don’t have the expensive cars, great mansions, jobs we want, or perfect families. Instead, we struggle, try and fail to get those things, but why? We have the skills and abilities we want, and the winners at this are no better than we are, but we don’t know just what attracting abundance means.

What does it mean when we say ‘attracting abundance‘? It means that you attract what you want and need into your life for your subconscious and conscious mind. In short, you let the universe know that you are worth your dreams, and you’re worth having them come true. Once we know this for ourselves and once we realize the power of the universe, this abundance can’t help but come to us. We will truly be blessed beyond measure.

Thoughts have power. Our thoughts reflect our self-esteem, needs, and desires; directly influencing what comes into our lives. If your thoughts are filled with self-loathing and lack of belief in your own abilities, attracting abundance will be practically impossible. However, if you turn to positive thinking to teach yourself how to be confident and believe you deserve to get what you want, then you can have a life overflowing in abundance.

What is it about attracting abundance that some people seem to get and others don’t? In fact, no one is special and everyone can do this. It can work well for you, no matter who you are, as long as you harness your thoughts and ask the universe for guidance. Figure out why you want the things you want, and use meditation and self-reflection to help discover just exactly what that is.

To start attracting abundance, use note cards or a journal to record your daily thoughts. When you catch yourself making negative thoughts, write them down on a note card. Look at what you have written and write down a positive response. For example, writing ‘I hate my job.’ does not help you focus on your goal of getting a better paying job.

You could replace this negative draining thought by writing down ‘I deserve to work in a position I love.’ You can also choose to make the statement more detailed if desired. Using the note card to write down the specific field you are interested in, the ideal salary, and the exact position. Constantly look at these note cards and mentally picture yourself getting what you want.

You can also make a box for your goals, and put your note cards, pictures, and anything else that’s going to support this positive thinking into it. If you want a house, put a picture of the house you want into the box. If you want a car, put a picture of the car you want into the box.

Fantasy is very important when it comes to attracting abundance. Daydreaming, meditation and sleep unleash creativity and imagination. Our relaxed minds are more open, and we can fantasize without having to deal with negative thoughts interrupting us. One of the best ways to do this is to focus on what you want from the universe as you fall asleep.

Meditate in front of a picture that represents the goal you want to achieve, or your box of goals. Look in the mirror every day and say something nice about what you see to increase your confidence.

Remember, too, that once you can actually connect with it, the universe will give you what you want quite quickly. Watch and see; once you fully believe that attracting abundance is easy, see just how easy it doesn’t come, and you’ll see that obstacles and stumbling blocks simply seem to disappear and melt away.

In the last few weeks I have taken the big step of talking to my mum and dad about my problems with depression. My mother has said that she thinks we have some kind of depression gene as most of our family suffer from similar symptoms.

I would like to start by making it clear that I do not work in the “depression” industry; I personally offer a stammering course; training for foster carers and also offering business cost reduction ideas..

I have as recently as last week suffered with a severe bout of this depression, however from it I learnt a valuable lesson. I had been having a bad period in my life where seemingly everything was going wrong. I had nothing to look forward to and decided that I needed a night out with my friends. There was one intention that I had in mind which was to get as drunk as possible.

The next day I felt really ill and hungover after having a very late night and as planned a huge amount of alcohol. For the whole day I struggled to stay awake and as the day wore on I became more and more depressed. My head was suddenly thinking some rather bad thoughts – I just could not seem to get into any sort of positive frame of mind – negativity had taken over my body~My head was suddenly thinking some rather bad thoughts – I just could not seem to get into any sort of positive frame of mind – negativity had taken over my body}.

The lesson I have learnt is that is not a good idea to go out drinking alcohol if you are feeling low and depressed.

I have to say that my mum and dad are in fact extremely astute people which makes me wonder why I did not seek their advice on a more often basis in the past. This turned out to be a perfect example of this as they once again gave me some top guidance. They asked me to think about all of the things and aspects of my life that were getting me down~They wanted me to write a list of all of my worries and problems; the things that were causing me to spiral in and out of depression}~They wanted me to write a list of all of my worries and problems; the things that were causing me to spiral in and out of depression}. What I then needed to do was to talk about them and to think positive by attempting to find solutions to each of these problems.

This is not at all easy to do but is something I now try. I have realised that it is good to talk about our fears and phobias and that there is nothing wrong with admitting that you are stressed and depressed.

I now try to think positive in all situations, life is far too short to be always worrying about everything. I have also started to read a lot of self-help books, these have taught me quite a lot of new things and have given me many new ideas.

Clairvoyance is definitely a controversial topic-no matter to whom you speak. It goes against the grain of many religious beliefs and the reality most people understand. And while medical science has taught us much about the human mind, there is still so much that is unknown or unproven that we remain mystified about topics such as this. People who believe in the power and abilities of clairvoyants believe those people are able to tap into a sixth sense or a region of the brain not yet fully explored or understood.

Perhaps everyone has a bit of clairvoyant ability at their disposal. They just may not know it. For others-a minority to be certain-clairvoyant abilities are obvious and undeniable. These are the people we hear of who are considered natural clairvoyants. Other people, however, may wish to explore their own clairvoyant abilities or gifts and try to develop this sixth sense. If you want to develop your clairvoyant abilities, you must become a clairvoyant free of all self-doubt.

The way to start is with a complete acceptance and an open mind to all things psychic. To those who doubt and question, the door to developing their latent clairvoyant will remain forever locked.

Perhaps disbelief can be attributed to not fully understanding what it means to be clairvoyant. People who are clairvoyant have a natural ability-often called a ’sixth sense’-and are able to see or experience things that are not happening directly to them but are happening to someone else somewhere else. It usually comes as a flash of a vision or a premonition of danger regarding something that will happen in the future. It may also be a flashback to something that occurred to someone else in the past. Or it could be happening simultaneously but nowhere near the clairvoyant so that the clairvoyant has no other means of discerning that this is really happening. For instance, you may have heard stories of people who changed their plans due to a clairvoyant vision and escaped tragedy as a result. So to develop any clairvoyant abilities, you must first open yourself to an all-encompassing awareness of the universe around you and the possibilities. You must remove any skepticism. You must choose to believe. And one way you can prepare your mind to do this is to practice meditation and begin to experience the ‘oneness’ of the universe.

So, in order to become a true clairvoyant free your mind of all skepticism and open your awareness to be all-encompassing. Clairvoyance is drawn from the universe around us, and in order to develop as a clairvoyant you must be able to become as one with this universe. To develop this serene sense of “oneness” you must first learn to practice meditational type exercises.

Everything around us is born of, and is therefore a part of the universe and it is by learning to attune our spirits with it that we can tap into the universal continuum, and see events that have taken place or that are yet to take place, or sometimes something that is happening elsewhere in the world.

A clairvoyant free to connect with this universal pool of existence will at first often just see small particles of information and may not be able to discern any real meaning of what he or she sees. It may be even just be an emotion that is picked up, or an image of something, or something “heard” in the deep recesses of the mind. But this is the beginning. Learning to recognize it for what it is (a communication with the universal continuum) is the first step.

To be a successful clairvoyant belief is everything, for if you have any shadow of doubt, you will not be able to progress to the level of the complete clairvoyant free from worrying what they see, or feel, or hear being only in their imagination.

To better develop as a clairvoyant, free yourself from any distractions or negativity. This could be objects, people, or even places. If it contributes to your disharmony, separate yourself. Cleanse your environment from anything that is not conducive to your receptiveness.

You must also maintain a quiet, still confidence in yourself and your ability. This is the key to removing self-doubt. A clairvoyant free of negativity can receive insights, and as you become more confident, you will increase confidence in the people around you, as well.

Other tools can help people develop their clairvoyant gifts, as well. Tarot cards and scrying are two such methods. These teach techniques of interpretation and concentration important to the development of clairvoyance. To be a true clairvoyant is a gift. Many well-known and famous people speak with clairvoyants to access their insight before making important life decisions. Some clairvoyants even become famous for their remarkable insights. If you have the gift, embrace it and use it to help others.

I have met many people in my life who are very negative. They moan about seemingly everything and walk around with the weight of the world on their shoulders. I was also like that until the age of twenty-two, at this age I decided to have a new approach to life.

During an afternoon at work one day (we worked for a composite door company), aged as I say twenty-two, a colleague I was working with started to talk to me. What he said was a shock to me, however would have a profound effect on my future. He said to me:

“I am often shocked Steve at some of the things that you are say – you are living in one dark, lonely and depressing way, would you agree?”

“Am I?”

I said in a rather cautious voice – I had not realised that I was negative in comparison to other people. There were reasons for my often depressive state; I had a stuttering speech impediment for a start.

He continued:

“Yes you are. You very rarely smile, you are negative about most issues and you always seem to be carrying the world on your shoulders”.

He was aged 53 and he continued:

“I used to be like you and then I was given some advice, of which I am now going to relay to you. When you feel down, depressed or sorry for yourself, read the newspapers or watch the news on the television. By doing this should soon make you realise that you are not so unlucky after all.”

I had a long think about what he had said. I had never been a big reader or watcher of the news, but decided to give it a go. The advice he gave me was totally correct, the news from around the world and even my own country was quite shocking. I realised that the worries I had were actually quite trivial and that I needed to cherish everyday and start to look on the bright side of life.

I have now commenced a new career in the business cost reduction sector and have taken my new found positive attitude with me.

Conclusion: Start to appreciate what you have and the contentment will soon come.

In this article I write about how we need to chill out, relax and to live a stress-free life. For many years I did not live life this way and found myself constantly worrying about what other people thought of me.

I lived life like this for quite a long time and was basically being a fool as I was often depressed. This was due to the fact that I had a stutter and despite attending stammering treatments on a regular basis I was unable to find a solution. Years later I did manage to stop stammering, after a lot of hard work and with the help of a seventy minute self-help DVD.

In my quest to improve my life I started to read literature about stress management, how to eradicate depression as well as how to gain in confidence. I was now twenty-two years of age and had achieved very little in life up to this point. I happened to come accross the letters page of one particular magazine and started to read a letter which had been written by an elderly lady. It was quite a funny letter and she wrote about how she loved being old. She mentioned that she can now stay in bed all day if she wants to and does not care what people think of her. If she is invited to a social occasion which she does not want to attend, she will say no without feeling any sense of guilt. She wrote that for the first time in her life she does not care at all what people think of her and lives life doing exactly what she wants to do.

I thought about what she had written and realised that I also felt trapped. I did not want to wait until I was in my seventies to be set free, I wanted freedom now. I had to change my attitude to life and I decided to stop trying so hard.

I believe that I am a good human being; I try to do right by the people that I meet; I am honest and caring and try to live life in the right way. I actually for the first time in my life, quite like myself, therefore if other people choose not to, that is fine by me.

My new found positive attitude has helped me in many different ways including in my business life where I sell front doors. My life is back on track thanks to that lovely old lady.

By knowing why is motivation important you have better chances to succeed in life. With the right motivation there is nothing that can stop you from the way to success. Keep in mind that it all depends of you. You need to really want something in order to get it.

One of the first steps is to note down everything you need to do. You will be able to assimilate better the plan if you write everything in an agenda and it’s there in black and white. By knowing what you want and why you will find it very easy to do anything.

Picture yourself reaching your goal. Try to imagine what you will feel in that moment.  Make the image colorful and vivid. Only this way you can find the motivation to keep on working. Remember that nothing comes from the sky. You need to invest a lot of time and work in order to succeed.

When you do something for yourself you might not be so motivated as you would be if you were doing the same task for someone else. Making your family happy is one of the best motivations you can find. Therefore when you feel tired you should think of their smiles. This will definitely boost your energy levels.

If you know of other people who are trying to achieve the same goal you should talk to them. Try to find out what are their secrets. You can share your experience. This will make you feel with more energy. People always work better when they feel a little competitive.

Motivation can provide you with more self confidence. Without it you can’t achieve anything in life, so it’s essential that you find ways to keep yourself motivated. The key to a happy and successful life is motivation. Find this and nothing can stay in your way. Success is just one step away!

When you are the director of your dream and you know that you are dreaming then such dreams are known as lucid dreams. In lucid dreams the dreamer is aware of each and every thing he does and he does things that he wants to do. He decides who the people in his dream are, what places in his dream are and what the ending of his dream is.

When you are engaged in lucid dreaming, your dreams can be a fantasy, adventure or mystery. Anything you want. There are no limits to what you can experience!

Normal dreams are not ones that let you control them, and sometimes take a turn for the worse, bringing out some of the worst fears buried in your minds, whereby when lucid dreaming, the dreams often seem so real and lifelike that you have a hard time distinguishing them from normal, everyday life.

In a lucid dream, there are certain details that might clue you into the fact it is a dream, such as colors, or items that don’t belong, for example. Much like sleep walking where the person appears to be awake, a lucid dream involves much the same type of feeling without being fully conscious of it.

You may be fantasizing about something that you really want badly, such as a promotion, or a new home. This may be impossible in real life, but in your lucid dreams where you control the outcome, you may see yourself already doing the new job and details of it, or vividly see you moving into the house you want to purchase, for example.

You can change the dream so that what you want to happen is how it ends in lucid dreaming. By using your sub-conscious part of the brain that controls creativity and imagination to control your dream and picture how it would be if your dreams came true, a lucid dream can be a way to see that possibility.

Is it physically possible to experience lucid dreams? Yes! There is a biological need for the body to sleep, to rest and prepare for another days activities, it is a relatively simple step for part of your mind to remain conscious while your body is resting.

Learning how to have lucid dreams can take a lot of practice and some people may not be able to master it until they have gone through a long, slow process.

One way to invoke the lucid dreams is to try and remember your dream when you are awake. You need to make a supreme effort to remember all the minute details and happenings and images in the dream. Record it in your bedside journal and keep it handy for such entries. You don’t need to fret if you can’t remember every teeny detail. With this technique, it’s a matter of time when you will have the same dream again and then you can further add details to your observations. If you wake before your normal time, let’s say you have a couple of hours to go; this is the easiest time for lucid dreaming. It may seem like you have been awake and thinking all the time, but you have actually been lucid dreaming.

Approximately eight months ago I had breakfast with a thirty-one-year-old male named Alexander who experiences acute depression, has relationship problems, and who is drug and alcohol dependent. As articulated by Alexander, it is his alcohol and drug addiction and his intense depression that had the most to do with his continual relationship issues.

I recall reading that a history of mental health issues, drug abuse, and abusive drinking routinely occur in the same family. Additionally, I remember hearing that under such circumstances, an individual needs to get treatment for both medical conditions and that chemical dependency and mental health issues many times occur in the same person.

As explained by Alexander, he is so defeated by his relationship problems and by both of his medical conditions that he in actual fact has little or no drive to achieve much of anything. What is especially unfortunate about this is that earlier in his life, Alexander finished three semesters of grad school in entrepreneurship.

I spent the first twenty-two years of my life having to cope with a stuttering problem. To say that this had a negative affect on my life would be a massive under-statement. So what was the catalyst to my new found strength? Well alcohol of all things is the answer to this question. Since the age of seventeen, or possibly even sixteen, I had been consuming vasts amounts of alcoholic drink. When intoxicated I could speak as fluently as the next man, I was happy, I was fearless, I was confident and I was care-free. Now do not worry the solution to your confidence and self-esteem issues is not to become drunk every night but what had this experience with alcohol taught me? Well quite simply it showed me that I was able to speak fluently and that I could be happy.

I just had to live life when sober as I did when I was drink. For example I had to learn to be far more positive, far more care-free and far more stress-free. I am worthy, I am a nice person and I am clever.

I have also now realised that I have actually been dealt a very good hand of cards, I am one of life’s lucky ones. The fuure sure looks bright now!

I hope that my new found confidence will enable me to be able to help more people to learn how to play the guitar, this is something that is very important to me as it is a great instrument to play. I have now even started to offer online guitar lessons for beginners.

In addition he hated the fact that he had to go to court for his second DWI, he was bored with his drinking pals, he was irritated with the many times he failed an alcohol test at his workplace, he was fed up with paying for alcohol-related attorney fees, and he was appalled with how physically unfit he was.

In addition to the perceptible alcohol-related health problems he was experiencing, possibly the most troublesome part of his drinking behavior was the untrustworthy and dishonest person he had turned into. In his heart he realized that he had been less than truthful about his drinking behavior to his family, friends and relatives and he also knew he had been lying to himself about the “healthy” outcomes of drinking. Not only this but he justified wolfing down two or three drinks before going to social events and he also justified needing two or three drinks the first thing in the morning so that he could deal with the “pressures” at work.

His Depression and His Hazardous and Heavy Drinking Result in Important Changes in His Life

Without a doubt Samuel was sick of putting up with the negative effects of his depression and his careless and excessive drinking and finally decided that something significant had to change in his life. So he made up his mind that he would stop drinking, develop a new circle of friends, involve himself in some worthwhile hobbies, get professional counseling, start exercising, and start focusing on becoming a more healthy person.

In brief, Samuel got to a key moment in his life during which he saw that he hit a low point in life and was now prepared to start the gradual and slow climb back to health.

One of the ways that Samuel implemented his “plan” was by asking for a transfer at his place of employment. When his request was granted, he moved 300 miles away to a new part of the U.S.. If nothing else, this beyond doubt made making new friends and buddies and disconnecting himself from his old friends and pals simpler. Then he phoned a healthcare practitioner in his new city and made an appointment for a complete mental and physical examination.

Samuel Meets With a Doctor About His Hazardous Drinking and His Depression

After meeting with the healthcare professional and going through a number of laboratory tests, it was determined that Samuel had made the transition from alcohol abuse to alcohol addiction and consequently was in need of alcohol detoxification and alcohol rehab. At this time, the doctor made it a point to discuss the various signs of alcoholism, the symptoms of alcoholism, and information about long term alcohol effects with Samuel.

The healthcare practitioner then told Samuel that it was concluded that he was clinically depressed and in need of therapy for this medical problem.

Samuel Decides to Build Up His Body by Taking Vitamins, Eating Nutritious Foods, Exercising, Living an Alcohol-Free Way of Life, and Drinking Distilled Water

Due to his willingness to follow through with the rehabilitation therapy, after seven weeks of residential rehab, Samuel was ready to begin rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. At this time, he started working at his new job and over the weeks began revitalizing his body by drinking filtered water, taking vitamins, eating healthy foods, living an alcohol-free lifestyle, and working out.

Samuel also addressed his spiritual life by joining the local Nazarene church and attending the weekly services.

After around seven months of outpatient rehab during which time he never suffered through an alcohol relapse, Samuel quit going to alcohol treatment and instead began going twice every week to local Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Going to these meetings helped Samuel continue his alcohol-free style of life, they provided him with the support he required, and they served as a continual reminder of the damaging consequences that are associated with excessive and hazardous drinking.

After going to AA meetings just about three months Samuel felt that he was ready for a relationship and so he started going out with Lois, a young lady he met at church. It clearly amazed Samuel how much more prepared he was for a dating relationship now that he had his excessive and hazardous drinking under control. Indeed it also amazed Samuel how much better life was now that he wasn’t under the control of his hazardous and careless drinking. Life was now rewarding and loaded with promise that he could have never wished for or fulfilled when he was involved in hazardous and careless drinking less than a year ago.

A Success Story That is a Tribute to the Value of Alcohol Rehabilitation and the Power of Positive Thinking

Samuel’s success story is a testament to the relevance of alcohol therapy and the power of positive thinking. As Samuel thought about his newfound positive self image and motivation for involving himself in healthy, worthwhile activities, he was actually grateful that he made up his mind to do something worth while about his excessive and hazardous drinking instead of giving into his depression and into the lure of his alcohol dependency. The result: he is in charge of his life rather than letting himself languish under the control of his alcohol dependency, he has more energy now compared with any time in his adult life, his life now has a positive direction, he is involved in a wholesome relationship, and he likes his new job responsibilities.

Your dreams are the nourishment of your soul, just like food is for your body. Many times in our existence, we see our dreams being squashed and our wishes frustrated. Nevertheless, it’s important to carry on dreaming or have new dreams, or our soul dies and coldness creeps into it.

History has told us about all those great battles, where each side was thinking they are fighting on the "right" side, the "right"  cause – here I’m referring to those religious battles mainly. The most cruel wars took place in the name of God or religion or for land, rivers of blood have flown. Back then – in times of those famous Popes, Kings, Emperors, Pashas, things were relatively easy for men to fight the "right" battle. Today, there is no more land to conquere, the battlefield is our own interior.

The battle of the "right" cause is for our own dreams, as they explode in our youth, when we have so much courage but we are not very experienced in battle. After much force, we have learnt to battle and the fine art of war, but our courage is now waning. We are no longer blindly running ahead of the pack with our sword drawn blank.
This is the time, when we direct our sword against ourselves and we turn into our own worst enemy. We keep telling ourselves, that our dreams were infantile, difficult to come true, or – that they are fruits of our phantasy and have nothing in common with the realities of life. We kill our own dreams because we are afraid to enter into battle for the "just" cause.

The first symptom of the death of our dreams is the lack of time. The really important people with a full day’s schedule – are exactly the ones who always have time for everything important. Those that are actually doing nothing are always tired, they don’t even accomplish the little work they have  and are constantly complaining that the day is too short. The truth is, they are afraid to enter into a battle for the "just" cause.

The second symptom that our dreams are dying are our certainties. While we no longer see life as constant adventure enjoying that we are alive. We present ourselves as wise, just, correct at the little we ask from life and our existence.

We look outside over the walls of our little existence, we hear the noise of battle, of swords breaking, we smell the sweat and the blood and the smoke of guns, we sit there looking at the conquest of the soldiers. But we don’t realize the relish and joy they feel in that battle which they fight with all their heart. Never mind if they win or lose – all that matters for them is – they are fighting for a "just" cause.

Finally, the third symptom of our dreams dying is the peace. Life passes like an endless chain of Sunday afternoons. It does not ask us for anything important and we must not bend over to give more than we want to give. This is when we say we have "matured". We abandon our phantasy of youth and carry on with our personal and professional life. We are surprised when someone of our age tells us that he’s still expecting of life this, that or the other. In truth, somewhere hidden in our heart, our inner voice tells us that we also should go out there fighting our "just" battle for our dreams.

When we have finally renounced our dreams and found peace, we enjoy it for some time- we have a little tranquil period – but the dead dreams inside us start decomposing and are poisioning our interior.

The poison infects all our surroundings.  We start being cruel to those around us and finally we direct our cruelty against ourselves. We have illness coming towards us and psychosis. What we wanted to avoid in the our "just" battle – the deception and the loss, is now the very price of our cowardice. There comes the day when air becomes difficult to breath and we actually wish for death to come. The death that will liberate us from our certaincies, of our worries and this terrible peace of the endless chain of  Sunday afternoons.

An Amusing Story About Fear.

I remember my first ‘public speaking’ gig about twenty years ago.
Unfortunately.

It was a massive affair(!) …I was doing a lecture to twelve students who were completing their fitness instructor accreditation.
I had to talk for one hour.
I spent two weeks preparing.
Every day for those two weeks I wrote notes, re-wrote notes, planned, visualised, rehearsed (in my head) and generally stressed. For the amount of time, effort and preparation I put in, I probably earned about seventy five cents per hour for the whole experience.

Oh yes… I had surely arrived as a public speaker.
An orator of some note.
Not.
It’s fair to suggest that Tony Robbins was in no immediate danger.

The big day came and I arrived at the venue (a health club) forty five minutes early (can’t be too careful when it comes to traffic delays).
I sat in my car and hyper-ventilated.
I studied my volumes of notes. Again.
I was so nervous I could actually feel the pulse in the side of my neck.
I went inside and walked straight to the change rooms.
I stood in front of the mirror and looked at myself.
I looked a little pastey.
Grey, perhaps.
My light blue shirt was now a nice blend of light.. and dark blue.

Yes, that’s right; the world’s most nervous man had sweated himself into a frenzy.
I looked like I’d just run a half-marathon… in business pants, slip-on shoes and a shirt.

Attractive.

So, there I was… standing in front of the mirror, back-stroking in my own body fluids, looking at the sweat patches extending from my armpits to my hips, trying to figure out how on earth I was gonna dry my shirt, stop sweating, get my heart rate under one fifty and not freeze in front of my massive audience.

Very cool.
Let’s just say that my confidence wasn’t at an all-time high at this point.

So I took my shirt off (I had no option) and decided to commandeer the only hand dryer (shirt dryer) in a pathetic attempt to address the sweat factor… four minutes later I’m standing half naked in a public washroom with a semi-dry shirt, looking like some kinda weirdo, vagrant… when the guy who was employing me to speak, walked in.

"Man, I’ve been looking for you."

Perfect.

So instantly my anxiety had two friends; humiliation and embarrassment.

After stumbling my way through some lame-ass explanation of my semi-nude state, my ‘employer’ hesitantly marched me up the corridor to meet my class.

He gave me some under-whelming introduction (understandably) and left the room.
My stomach churned, my mouth went dry and my heart rate hit four hundred and twenty five.
I turned to my vast audience and smiled.
Not one person smiled back.
Not one!
My heart rate hit six hundred and fifteen.
I felt my armpits spring into action.

For the next hour I bumbled, stumbled and sweated my way through, what will go down as, one of history’s worst displays of public speaking.
You probably think I’m gonna say I was crap; I actually wasn’t.

I wish I was crap.

Crap would have been an improvement.
In fact, following my first effort… crap was my goal.

Before the lecture one of my friends suggested that I should make the session interactive to take some pressure and attention off me being the only one speaking…. good idea.

In theory.

So after a fifteen minute sweaty monologue, I’ve opted for the old:

"Okay guys, any questions…. thoughts…..?
"Anything!"
"Please".
"Someone".

Absolute donuts.
They gave me…. nuthin!.

A sea of blank faces (well twelve of them anyway).

After my less-than impressive(!) debut I was packing up and everyone except one girl had left.
She walked toward me and for one delusional moment, I thought she might put my mind at ease and tell me I wasn’t so bad.

"You haven’t done that before have you?"
"No.. does it show?"
"Yep."
"Err, okay… anything else?"
"You talk too fast."

My overall emotion was starting to move from a general sickness, to more of a full-body numbness.

"Alrighty… thanks for the feedback. See you next week."
"Oh, do we have you next week too?"
"Yes, you have me for the next five weeks."

"Oh."

And with those words of encouragement, she took her books and my remaining self-esteem and left.

Since that day I have done thousands of talks, worked on several continents, delivered numerous corporate presentations, University lectures, workshops, hosted hundreds of radio shows and made many TV appearances.

Amazingly.

So…. I finished my teaching commitment with my twelve students and over the course of the six weeks my speaking performance moved from… atrocious…. to crap…. to mediocre.
I was so happy to be mediocre.

I changed from the light blue (how-much-can-one-man-sweat?) shirt to the black (doesn’t-show-the-sweat) T-Shirt, learned to control my nerves a little, got my heart rate under three hundred and slowly began to develop my public speaking skills.
To say it was an uncomfortable and confronting process would be a massive understatement.

It was nerve-wracking.
And fantastic.
I hated it.
And loved it.
I learned about people.
And about me.

Tomorrow (Thursday) morning I have one of my regular TV gigs on Network Ten here in Australia. I will talk to 400,000 people live and will have way less nerves and way more fun than when I taught those twelve fitness students twenty years ago. This weekend I will do nine hours of live talkback radio on two different stations… and have a ball.

I don’t tell you any of this to impress you, but rather, to impress upon you that we can all do and create amazing (whatever our amazing is) when we take chances, get uncomfortable, put our ass on the line, persevere and stop running away from fear.

I’m also not suggesting that anyone needs to become a public speaker, motivator or coach (or anything that Craig Harper does)…. this story is about dealing with and overcoming the fear that destroys lives and breaks spirits.

As I’ve said before, a certain level of fear is healthy (smart even) but a life limited, or even controlled by fear is tragic… and too many (lives) are.

So go and find your twelve people to stand in front of… and start speaking.

You never know what might happen.

Virtual Abundance Expo

Abundance is a concept often debated in spiritual and entrepreneurial circles. Here’s what my friend Alex Mandossian says to trigger your thoughts on how you define abundance…

Entrepreneurs commonly use the catch-phrase “thinking BIG,” but they really mean the same thing.

The unique part about abundance which makes it difficult to generally understand is that it must be experienced … it can’t just be explained.

Yet the most encouraging part of adopting an abundance mindset is how it can connect you to people with totally different set of beliefs and values.

It instantly sustains inclusivity even with people who are dramatically different.

The answer… a mind-set of abundance.

Donald Trump says, “If you’re going to think anyway, you might as well think big.”

Mother Theresa said: “The more we discover the magnitude and abundance of God’s gifts, the more we

Again, the abundance mindset creates connections.

Bucky Fuller had this to say about the abundance mindset:

“The condition of planet earth is abundance . How our financial, legal, political and military systems are set up (or exist at all) is determined by our belief in either scarcity or abundance.

Scarcity and Abundance are contextual and foundational ideas. They each give rise to a distinct system of thought and a number of rules, characteristics and measures which only make sense within their own system.”

Above all, the abundance -mindset is a choice. In other words, you choose to look through the lens of scarcity, or through the lens of abundance . There is no in-between.

Incredible as it may be, there is about 90% of our brains which go unused. Just imagine the possibilities which would be opened up by being able to use this vast untapped potential source of mindpower. The possibilities are hard to imagine, but all of us have a lot of psychic potential which is going unused and the results of using this could be amazing.

Scientists agree that people who exhibit psychic and extra sensory abilities must be able to use these abilities due to somehow using that 90% of the human mind which usually lies idle. Some people appear to have these abilities from birth but others develop their mindpower and start using these latent talents later on in life.

Although the process is far from fully understood, the latest advances in quantum physics are beginning to reveal the true nature of the link between what we think and what we experience in ‘real’ life.

Studies show that our minds may be able to change the world more than the world can change our minds!

Popular books about the law of attraction like ‘The Secret’ show how humans have the ability to use their own mind power to change their lives and even the world they live in.

The law of attraction is essentially all about how cause and effect works in the realm of our thoughts. Like any other action we take, our thoughts can cause things to happen. When we develop our mindpower and learn how to focus these thoughts, we can use this cause to effect change in the world.

So the subconscious mind is not only responsible for all of the esp powers such as telepathy, remote viewing, and precognition, it also reacts with the ‘universe’ or what some call the ‘universal consciousness’, to manifest your desires.

Now the key to the development of your mindpower is to communicate with your subconscious mind. But how exactly do you do this? There are a number of ways.

Affirmations:- Affirmations are a powerful means of boosting mindpower by repeating desired outcomes until they reach your subconscious mind; your subconscious then taps into your reserves of mindpower to change your behavior, then making your goals a reality.

For example, you could increase your self esteem with affirmation such as ‘I am a confident, successful person’. You can also use affirmations to break bad habits, using sayings like ‘I do not smoke and have no desire to have a cigarette’.

When repeated, affirmations reach the subconscious and start producing the desired result.

So just take this a stage further and realize that anything you want to change will change; not just your behavioral habits but absolutely everything in your reality. This is mindpower!

Visualization:- You can also develop your mindpower using visualization. Visualization consists of closing your eyes and picturing the things you want to happen in your mind’s eye. Your subconscious mind responds to the images which you focus your thoughts on and begins using your mindpower to make them a reality. You can visualize anything you want and with practice, you’ll increase your mindpower and make it possible.

Visualization is a powerful technique for building up mindpower and bringing latent psychic abilities to the surface. When you visualize being able to use your psychic abilities, they will be strengthened and your mindpower will be developed so that you’ll have access to your natural abilities.

Hypnosis:- Hypnosis is another well known way of communicating with your subconscious mind and helping to develop mindpower. If you visit a professional hypnotist or hypnotherapist they will start by making sure you are totally relaxed and then offer suggestions to your subconscious mind which it will remember when you wake up.

Self hypnosis can also be used to develop mindpower. You can use self hypnosis by listening to a hypnotherapy session which has been recorded; this can be listened to any time you want to use self hypnosis and of course, it is also a lot less expensive than visiting a hypnotist.

Brainwave entrainment:- This is a new audio technology which is brainwave synchronization. This changes instantly your brainwaves to a certain frequency. This can result in many things. At a certain frequency you can improve your memory. At another frequency natural endorphins are released into your body which heal and alleviate pain.

Other frequencies can assist you to get into a state of meditation very quickly to allow communication with your subconscious mind and therefore the development of your mindpower to take place.

Other frequencies can stimulate the parts of your body known as the chakra energy centers. There is a chakra in the center of your forehead called the third eye chakra which is responsible for psychic powers.

Each and every one of us has psychic abilities naturally. These abilities normally stay in the subconscious mind and are not used. However, with the right techniques, your mindpower can be developed to the point where these latent abilities come to the surface and can be used.

When we talk about developing mindpower, what we really mean is unlocking the potential psychic abilities which are present in every person and starting to access the potential of that 90% of the brain which we don’t use every day.

In general, the majority of the population has heard of astral projection. They may have heard of it from a reading a book, watching a movie or from an enlightened friend. However, it seems very few know that astral projection is a genuine occurrence. It is something that we can all naturally do. You may have even projected and never realize that you did so. Many people do.

You need to understand what astral projection really is. Astral projection is the ability of an individual to leave his or her body. Everyone has the ability to do this; everyone does this when he or she lay down to sleep at night. While sleeping the physical mind is resting and the subconscious mind takes control. A person astral projects while this is happening. However, the majority may never remember astral projecting.

When a person projects, they go wherever they want to go. If you were to think back to your childhood, you will probably recall being able to do this when you would go to bed, as you aged you forgot. It is possible to go anywhere, there is no such thing as time or distance when it comes to astral projection. When a person is sleeping it is the physical body that is asleep, the astral body is the one that travels.

You may wonder what the astral body is. It is the ethereal body; it is the duplicate of the body in an invisible form. All of our desires and feeling originate from there. Can the astral body leave and not come back? A silver cord unites the astral and physical bodies.

The silver cord first connects as the astral body enters the physical body. This is not exhausted until after death when the astral body leaves the physical body for the last time. This silver cord prevents the astral body from not returning.

Something else you may consider is where do you go when you astral project? Your astral body goes to the astral plane. It is the invisible double body of the Earth. Its vibration is much faster than that of the physical Earth while it does penetrate into the core of the Earth. Many define it as another dimension of reality. In addition, most agree that there are various levels of the astral plane.

Naturally, you may question as to the dangers of astral projection. Yes and no is the answer. Astral projection is something we are all capable of doing. We also know that the astral body can exit the physical body and will return. However, as with all things you should be sensible. What this means is that you do need good solid thinking skills and know what you want in order to go where you want to go.

Astral projection can be dangerous if you practice it with an unsound mind. Anyone under the influence of drugs and alcohol can wind up involved in an undesirable predicament at lower levels of the astral plane.

This is why it is important that you know what you are doing and where it is you want to go. The goal is to astral project consciously. You should have complete control over what your astral body is doing. The control comes from your thoughts.

If you prepare yourself properly beforehand you can find yourself able to astral project very quickly. There are a number of professionals in the field of astral projection that teach different techniques to help a person gain that control and have a better experience, though most prefer to astral project on their own at home.

You can find various other resources such as books online. For instance, you can create the right state of mind by listening to quality astral projection hypnosis recordings. It will help you relax and walk you through the various stages. This is beneficial since you can continue playing the recording repeatedly until your subconscious mind picks up the message that it is all right for you to leave your body.

Binaural beats is the most recent of astonishing sound technology advances. It plays slightly different tones of sound frequencies in the ears simultaneously. This works well for inducing relaxation and the deep state of meditation rather quickly. This is fundamental for the success of astral projection.

Don’t get frustrated if you are not able to successfully astral project the first time or even the second or third time. This is something that you must practice. It is not an ability that you have to acquire, we are all capable of doing it, many have just forgotten how and need to fine tune the natural skill.

Still not convinced? When was the last time you dreamt of flying or felt as though you were falling? The flying was the astral body moving through the astral planes. The falling sensation came when you noticed that astral body coming back to the physical body. Astral projection is real! Anyone can do it and benefit from it, if they take the time to fine tune their natural ability.

An exciting new concept that many celebrities have started to endorse is known as ‘cosmic ordering’.

Many people know this as ‘the law of attraction’ but advanced cosmic ordering is far more specific than this.

What if you had a cosmic ordering service and all you had to do was request something and like magic, it would appear before you. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? The most amazing thing is that we already have this power and yet all we choose to order is more of the same.

Think of it in this way – you have a menu with an unlimited number of options in front of you, but you only look at the very first line -bread. You keep ordering only this, perhaps feeling that you do not deserve more than this.

Now picture yourself with limitless wealth. You can do everything you’ve ever wanted. You spend 11 months of the year traveling in your private jet. Life is like an unending vacation.

So what is this cosmic ordering anyway?

If you are trying to comfort someone who is in pain due to the loss of a loved one then you need to read this article.

Encouraging words and tips may seem unnecessary to someone who is going through a hard time. In most cases when youtry to borrow and use daily words of encouragement quotes the grieving person may seem to discount them while continuing to indulge in the painful feeling.

No matter how strong a person may seem to be, every person needs some words that can inspire her or him. I can liken sharing such words to planting a seed. It can take a few days or even weeks for you to see the seeds germinating but through steady watering and a tod of understanding and endurance the seed does bring forth its fruits.

Likewise when you try to help someone get through a bad situation, never stop simply because you are not getting the reaction you expect. Don’t stop sharing beautiful words through Christian encouragement letters if you are dealing with a religious person and don’t dare give up.

If wound is new, then you really need to hand in there and give it your best shot. Exercise some patience and understanding. For some people, the healing process can take weeks, months and even years – depending on the extent of the pain or disappointment.

I know someone who lost a loved one and spend 24 months crying and mourning – literally. It turned out everything we kept saying to him over the years – in terms of encouragement, helped him to heal eventually. Truth is, I had started to give up on him and when he told me how I had helped I was really pleased.

So if ever you feel confused and tired of writing letter of encouragement to friend or loved one do not ever forget that they are helping her or hime to survive through each passing day. Be of good courage and do not stop talking positively into your friend’s life until you see a positive change.

Scientists estimate that we only use around ten percent of our mindpower. – Only ten percent! Can you imagine what would happen if you could access the remaining ninety percent? The results would be incredible!

In fact it has long been thought by scientists that people with all types of extra sensory and psychic powers have these powers because they are able to access different parts of their mind from other people. It seems that they were either born with this increased mindpower or have managed to develop this mindpower in later life.

Mind Power – Although the process is far from fully understood, the latest advances in quantum physics are beginning to reveal the true nature of the link between what we think and what we experience in ‘real’ life.

Lucid dreams are dreams you are having, but you are aware that they are dreams and can actually control them. You are aware of every move you make, and the things you say. You decide where you want to go, what you want to do, what you want to say and who you want to be with.

There are no limits to what you can experience through Lucid dreams. You can be the star of a romantic fantasy novel, or high action adventure, you can control the outcome or change the endings to what makes you happiest.

The advantages of lucid dreaming over normal dreams is obvious; you control them! They can be so vividly real that you may even have to do checks to be sure that you are really dreaming and not awake.

One way to make sure that you are dreaming is to attempt reading a book or paper. If you are dreaming your words are sure to change and make reading impossible. If you can’t read then it’s a lucid dream.

You may be having a fantasy about someone you want to be with. This may be impossible in real life, but of course anything is possible when you are lucid dreaming.

In lucid dreams you can decide the kind of events that can happen. Let’s say you are dreaming that you are with a person you desire to be with. In your dream that person can smile at you and even touch you. In fact in your dream, that person can do anything you want him to do!

Lucid dreams are very much possible. Though the body needs to revive itself for the next day by sleeping and resting, it is possible for your mind to be partly conscious.

It can take awhile to learn the techniques of lucid dreaming if you have never done it, but it can be learned over a period of time with practice.

You can begin by doing some dream recall everyday. Each day try to recall the dreams that you had in the night. You need to remember them to the last possible detail. It’s a great idea to keep some paper and pen handy to record your dreams. In the beginning you may not recall all the details. That’s not a problem. However, with constant practice, you will find dreams repeating themselves. This will enable you to completely record your dream. Make this a habit and soon you will have all your dreams recorded and can refer to them when you want.

Lucid dreaming is a great tool for writers. You can actually dream about all the characters, the plot and the way you want your story line to move. You can use lucid dreaming for expressing all your dormant desires and manifesting them in reality.

You need to make it habit to recall each and every detail about your dream. Once you do that, try sleeping again and if possible try to start the dream where you left and continue your dream from there. The dreams will repeat themselves so you can delve into more details every time that happens.

If you wake before your normal time, let’s say you have a couple of hours to go; this is the easiest time for lucid dreaming. It may seem like you have been awake and thinking all the time, but you have actually been lucid dreaming.

Can there really be any such thing as someone who is ‘telepathic‘? Most people would probably answer ‘only in some fantasy novel.’ But, look at all the things that people do today that once upon a time would have been ‘mere fantasy’: flying through the air; using the Internet to talk instantly to people thousands or millions of miles away; putting entire books on a hand-held device without needing any paper; and on and on.

Is has been said that a sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. The human race has used science and technology to learn things about the natural world we never knew. We’ve done things that were considered impossible flights of fancy jut a hundred years ago. We’ve had men walk on the bottoms of the oceans and on the surface of the moon (and we did it with technology that, by today’s standards, seems primitive). We can gather energy from the sun, the wind, and the water. And anyone can have a small device in their pocket that allows them to talk to anyone anywhere in the world. But this isn’t magic, its science… right?

To believe an individual may be telepathic has been considered mysticism, which is another word for magic. And it really isn’t much of a stretch to believe in the possibility of a Telepathic person. An individual who developed these mental properties, is misunderstood by many people.

The scientific investigation of Telepathic people falls under the area of paraphysics or parapsychology. The people who investigate it, paraphysicists or parapsychologists, try hard to use experiments and the scientific method to answer questions about telepathy, whether or not they like the answers they find. Some experiments on people with Telepathic powers have produced tantalizing results. In order to consider something scientifically provable, however, the test results must be measurable, consistent, and repeatable. This is where the scientific investigation of telepathy falls short—the test results are inconsistent and can’t always be duplicated. Some say this proves people can’t really be Telepathic. Others say this only proves that we don’t understand how it works yet, and haven’t developed the proper tests to measure it. But how could humans really be Telepathic? How can people communicate without the use of their five senses, using only thought alone? The obvious answer is through some means that we can’t hear, see, smell, taste, or touch, but that exists nonetheless. On the one hand, humans can already do this artificially using communication technology—radio waves can’t be observed with our five senses, but they definitely exist. On the other hand, the human brain is not a radio tower.

And, some of their experiments have brought tantalizing results to light. Unfortunately, there has never been a set of telepathic experiments that gives measurable, consistent, and repeatable results. This leads many people to conclude that telepathy has been disproven. But, other researchers insist that we haven’t yet designed the right experiments because telepathy is still so new to us.

Scientifically, human thought is just a biochemical process of neurons being transferred between different synapses in the brain. However, this transfer of neurons creates an electrical current—tiny, sure, but measurable. This electrical current also generates a tiny magnetic field. Keep in mind the brain has tens of thousands of synapses firing at any one time.

Can this bio-electric and bio-magnetic field be used by humans to communicate mind-to-mind? Do these electrical and magnetic waves carry content, or just the brain equivalent of meaningless static? Can people use mental training to control these brain waves? Can techniques like meditation or controlled thought be used to shape these brain waves into meaningful communication?

The human thought process is biochemical. It involves the nervous impulses being bounced from one neuron to another neuron. These transfers of impulses create electrical currents which can be measure even though they are very, very small. This small magnetic field generated by these currents produce, in the brain, thousands of synapses firing.

When you have electromagnetic fields, you have the possibility of communications-as our modern technology clearly proves. But, this brings us to another question: in these ‘thought waves’, is there truly content being carried, or is it all just ‘white noise’? If there is content, can we be trained to control sending and receiving it? Is meditation so effective for so many because it’s a method of tuning in the thought waves better, cutting out the noise and static, just as we do when we tune in a radio station and/or move the radio antenna around?

Another problem could be the relative weakness of the brain’s electromagnetic field. We have computers, cell phones, TV sets, stereos, and appliances all over the place today; and they all generate electromagnetic fields-stronger ones than the brain’s, meaning they might interfere with the brain’s transmission capacity.

There are, however, problems with the electrical and magnetic fields. Unfortunately these fields can be overpowered by everyday technology. For example the microwave, television, refrigerator. These everyday items produce much larger magnetic fields and electrical fields. Is it possible to reach the brains magnetic and electrical fields during an emotionally heightened state, fear, pain or shock? During these emotionally charged times, in the brain, a spiking of bio-magnetic and bio-electric activity is created by neuron synapses firing.

Researchers of parapsychology have documented brief Telepathic communications. One instance is a mothers knowing her child has been hurt, even though they are separated by many miles. This fear and anxiety the parent experiences creates the spiking of neurons and is this brain activity telepathically communicating? Does the relationship between two individuals contribute to telepathy? Or perhaps is this all just coincidence?

While mainstream science remains doubtful about telepathy because of the lack of consistent experimental results, this is a slowly changing attitude. As more research gets conducted, more researchers are convinced that telepathy must be real-and we just need to get the experiments right to understand it and be able to allow everyone to be trained one level or another as a telepath.

If you are not quite sure what it is, Lucid Dreaming is actually pretty simple. Lucid Dreams are those where you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming while you are dreaming. How lucid exactly your Lucid Dream is depends on how much control you have over the events of the dream, how stable the dream is and how many of the events of the dream you can remember once you wake up from it.

The most important part of lucid dreaming, of course is the question of whether or not you have control over the things which are happening in your dream and to be aware that you are dreaming. *Orange Chakra. This chakra lies on the naval. This is related to water which is one of the five “Panchbhutas” or elements. This governs our feelings and reproductive ability.

Chakra Meditation, essentially, involves three steps or techniques.

*Grounding Technique refers to the process whereby, your body feels connected with Earth. The visualization involves assuming a root growing from your body and entering into the Earth, thus, transfixing your body to the ground. With some intense focus and determination, you can achieve this state of Chakra Meditation.

*Centering Technique refers to the process whereby, your body gets prepared to receive the benefits of Chakra Meditation. The actual step involves taking 3-5 deep breaths. And visualization involves the assumption of feeling of relaxation of every body part from toe to head by tightening and relaxing each body part starting from toe, and moving in the northwards direction, till the head. The final act is the visualization of the act of centering a pot on a pottery wheel.

*Relaxation Technique. The main part of Chakra Meditation is the Relaxation Technique. Different people have different ways of distressing, so find a way of relaxing which suits you the best and adhere to it. In short, Chakra Meditation aims at relaxing the body and visualizing the flow of energy through the seven chakras.

One of the popular methods of Chakra Meditation is detailed below:

*Sit or lie down comfortably.

*Close your eyes and loosen your clothing. The idea is to be in a natural state without any kind of artificial compulsion on the body and mind.

*Breathe in a relaxed manner, which is neither too fast nor too slow. Let the breath come naturally!

*The next step relates to feeling every part of your body from toe to head in that direction. While your eyes are closed, try to feel everything that you would’ve seen with open eyes, like earth, air, clothes, surroundings etc. The idea is to feel awareness even with closed eyes.

*Don’t resist any thought. Let any thought come and go without disturbing you.

*Let you spirit roam in every part of your body. This is the feeling of completeness you’ve been yearning for.

This exercise can be done at any time of the day and for any duration of time. However, the longer the better!
